Photograph by Ritadhi Bhattacharyya

About: My name is Ritadhi Bhattacharyya, and I'm an electrical engineer. Growing up, I had faced a multitude of changes in several aspects of my life and making images has been a constant that has helped me save a slice of my life in a state of suspended animation. I don't call myself a photographer, because making images is a deeply personal and spiritual journey for me. The major events of our lives aren't the only ones that demarcate change. Something as soft as the wind blowing over a river while a drizzle makes the surface of the water dance can change something delicate within us, something that has the potential to change who we fundamentally are, and those are the milestones I intend to save.

Photograph by Pratyusha Chakraborty

About: Sunflowers, vintage aesthetics and jazz music make a perfect Pratyusha, but maybe on a chilly November evening, while taking a stroll of the old city, she'll stop under a neon streetlight to look up at the faded purple sky and break into a Joycean epiphany. With her, it's either the "funky printed shirts and a Richard Linklater or a Greta Gerwig movie", or "plain black tees and Shakespearean sonnets or post modernist novels" there's no inbetween (at least none that she'd admit).
